Dr. Kamler grew up in the Czech Republic and earned his medical degree there. Upon completion of medical school, he received the President’s Award, the highest award in Czechoslovakian medical education. In 1994, he was awarded participation in the Young Clinician Program at the 10th World Congress of Gastroenterology in Los Angeles, CA, as one of the five most promising gastroenterologists under the age of 35 in Czechoslovakia. He repeated his post medical school training in the United States and in 2001, established Reno as his new home when he joined Gastroenterology Consultants, Ltd.
Dr. Kamler is Board-certified and has a special interest in managing the treatment of patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Barrett’s Disease, and hemorrhoids.When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Kamler is enjoying time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include gardening, art collections, biking, hiking, and traveling.
