John F. Gray, MD, FACG

Dr. Gray has been specializing in gastrointestinal and liver care since 1984. He has been practicing Gastroenterology in Reno since 1986 when he co-founded Gastroenterology Consultants. He believes that it is important to know both the patient and their medical problem. He has experience treating all areas of gastrointestinal and liver disease and particularly enjoys trying to help those patients who have a complicated problem that may be difficult to treat or diagnose.

Dr. Gray has been active in the local and national medical community including terms as President of the Washoe County Medical Society, Chief of Staff of Renown Medical Center, and as Nevada State Governor for the American College of Gastroenterology. He is currently the President of the Nevada Colon Cancer Partnership and the Medical Director of the Renown Institute for Digestive and Liver Care.

Dr. Gray has been a resident of Nevada since 1968 and his recreational interests include biking, scuba diving, trekking, and reading.
