Mr. Johns is a second generation Nevada native who grew up in the Reno-Carson City area. He spent eleven years practicing in primary care during which time he was constantly fascinated by the complexity of gastrointestinal and liver disease. In 2004, Paul seized the opportunity to begin practice in GI with Gastroenterology Consultants, which also allowed him to return to his home state.

Mr. Johns enjoys managing the full spectrum of GI medicine. His primary focus, however, is managing the care of patients undergoing treatment of chronic infectious Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B, in the hospital and in the office setting.

Mr. Johns enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities in his spare time. He is known around the office as the avid golfer and fisherman.
