He notes that the staff is exceptional and strives to be part of the medical team, providing excellent GI/Hepatology care to the region. He enjoys working in all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology, with special interests in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract and nutrition.

Dr. Nachiondo is active in both national and local professional organizations. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Physicians. Between caring for patients, keeping up to date with the latest in the GI field and his leadership roles in the community, Dr. Nachiondo still finds the time to enjoy skiing, scuba diving, traveling, running and spending quality time with family and his Yellow Labrador, Daisy.
